Ho Chi Minh Trail
- The National Liberation Front (NLF) supported by the North
- A trail that brought supplies through Cambodia and Loas
- Sent supplies on a route from the North through Cambodia, Laos and behind lines into South Vietnam
- The U.S refused to fight on Cambodia or Laotian territory so supplies remained safe through the trail
Summary
After the Tet offensive was launched by the North Vietnamese Army (NVA) in 1968 there was very little achieved in the end, but what was surprising for the Americans was it occurred over Tet (Vietnamese Lunar New Year). This was a major turning point in the war because many pictures and other media was captured during the attack, American citizens didn't want to be apart of the war because of the disturbing pictures, therefore, Anti-war demonstrations increased.
